Originally created at the beginning of high school, this song has been sitting half-completed ever since. Having the inner need to finish this song it became the most atmospheric and uplifting song on the whole album.
lyrics
Verse 1:
Glass sky
Over our heads as
Sand fills up our shoes
But we don’t
Seem to mind
For the time
We keep on
Digging through to
The otherside
Chorus:
The Beauty
By Happy
Back when we were Young
We had no cares In the world
Verse 2:
Breeze home
Hair upon our
Arms atantive
As a soldier
Keeps us safe
We don’t need to
Know how we
Are protected by
Chorus:
The Beauty
By Happy
Back when we were Young
We had no cares In the world
The Beauty
The innocence
Back when we were kids
We thought we were the world
Bridge
Staring from our pleasant homes
The distant beauty which no one knows
We gather all our stuff in toe
And journey toward adventure ho!
Traversing the forest and fields outside
We’d sit beneath the great oak hid
The leaves were raining orange and green
We didn’t wonder what it means
Back to a time when we all thought the moon and stars weren’t far apart
We’d gaze upon the distant sky
And imagine a time when we would fly
Watching the clear creak water splash
Like raging rapids flowing fast
The fish and tadpoles swim along
To grow up and all join the pond
Exploring the mountains in the forest
Pretending like no one came before us
The marks on the map in time
Before the red skyline arrived
Back to a time when we all thought
the moon and stars weren’t far apart
we’d gaze upon the distant sky
and imagine a time when we would fly
Chorus:
The Beauty
By Happy
Back when we were Young
We had no cares In the world
The Beauty
The innocence
Back when we were kids
We thought we were the world
