The heaviest track on the album, “These Wounds” is a reflection of high school and the music that dominated my life. Being one of the first types of bands that I was in, “These Wounds” directly relates to the oldest playing style I learned: Metal.
lyrics
Verse 1:
Hopelessness
Hatred flows thru the air
Like shaved shrapnel on the ground
This was their final mistake
Pick up your sword
To pierce their hearts
Verse 2:
The times apon you
The golden year
To rise above substantiation
Pre Chorus:
Intimidate, reconcile
You are not their scrap to waste
Intimidate, reconcile
Time to strike
Chorus:
And now you’re the one
To be trembled and feared
And hold the reigns
Verse 3:
Tear down the walls
Like they did to you everyday
Shred your soul
As you shred theirs
Verse 2:
The times apon you
The golden year
To rise above substantiation
Pre Chorus:
Intimidate, reconcile
You are not their scrap to waste
Chorus:
And now you’re the one
To be trembled and feared
And hold the reigns
Make the whole world disappear
To be a slave
To societies hand
We are sick and thru
With your pointless games
Bridge:
Now is not the time to be a number two
These wounds cant be repaired
With shear force
And ruthlessness
Their bodies on the ground is your final goal
Run scream; get back to your holes
You had this coming
Chorus:
And now you’re the one
To be trembled and feared
And hold the reigns
Make the whole world disappear
To be a slave
We are sick and thru
With your pointless games
Pre Chorus:
Intimidate, reconcile
You are not their scrap to waste
Intimidate, reconcile
Time to strike
